Wimbledon is now upon us and the mixed blessing of school holidays is nigh which all means the picnic rug and the foldaway chairs are soon going to be seeing some action as ‘The Party Season’ takes hold.
Our chefs have been in fine party spirits and have been cooking a fabulous range of salads, large centre pieces
and quiches.
Picnic food mixed with a bit of daytime drinking can be one of the most pleasurable sensory experiences assuming firstly, one has thought through the outfit/seating arrangement - there's nothing worse than a short skirt and a picnic rug to negotiate (or so we are told) and secondly, the food is good.
Supermarkets can be good for chicken drumsticks, good deals on lager, and Sausage Rolls, but if you are looking for something a bit more sophisticated then that is where we come in.
We have always sold a lot of Party and Picnic Food in our shops for summer events but this is the first year we have been able to offer it online.
So, whether you are organising a picnic for 6 or a big Summer ‘do’ for 100, we have all the food you would need for al fresco eating.
