Once again it’s that time of year when two hours of the British economy is lost on a Monday morning as workers up and down the country reside at the water cooler and analyse the results of our two great bastions of modern entertainment.
Controversy and cries of foul play surround the X-Factor and the non-dispatching of Jedward, whilst Strictly viewers continue to weigh up the merits of the Tuffers Shuffle. Most importantly however my old school friend Chris Hollins with partner Ola is still in (or “Cola” in the spirit of media newspeak), so at least for now my money is still safe!
Our introductions in these letters are sometimes obvious, sometimes helpful and occasionally downright tenuous. This shamelessly falls into the latter category but if you are staying in and watching more than your fair share of reality television in the run up to Christmas, at least make "the food part" of the evening hassle free.
